Team work nets mugging

A domestic worker came into our office for assistance as she had just been robbed

EDITOR – On 31 July between about 1.30pm and 2.45pm, a domestic worker came into our office for assistance as she had just been robbed.

On calming her down, she said she would go the SAPS to report the incident.

We assisted her with taxi fare and on leaving the office, she saw the two suspects coming off the freeway on their way up Lewis Drive towards Adams Road.

We phoned the SAPS and gave descriptions of the two. We also phoned CCPO who contacted ET. A colleague also attempted to follow them with his car.

Shortly after that, the SAPS arrived at our office to collect the victim, as ET had the two suspects on Adams Road. To the Metro policeman, ET and the SAPS involved, thank you and well done.
