Tennis league goes well for women

first team beat Kloof 2 by six matches to love

AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club reports that another Wednesday morning produced some great results from the women.

The first team beat Kloof 2 by six matches to love and the second team beat Chiltern 2 by five matches to one. Keep it up girls.

Fixtures for Wednesday, 14 August are first team away to Glenashley 1 and second team at home against Hillcrest 2. There will be courts available for social games.

Unfortunately both the women’s and men’s teams lost their matches last weekend. The women lost against Brighton and the men lost against Kloof 2. No matches are scheduled for the weekend of 10 and 11 August, so all courts are available for social on Saturday afternoon. A big thank you from Chantelle to the men who have filled in when team members have not been available to play.

Best wishes to Jeandre who leaves on Friday, 9 August to take up a tennis scholarship in Beaumont, Texas.
