Housebreaker nabbed in Doonside

According to CCPO operations manager, Leon Joone housebreakings in the area have escalated recently.

“The CCPO, Toti detectives and Toti SAP members were observing in the area when we received a call from the complex’s security, who had arrested the housebreaker after video footage showed him breaking into the flat,” said Leon.

The housebreaker, who resides in Durban, was linked to several housebreakings in the area. “Investigations led us to a female accomplice, who was waiting for the housebreaker at a local pub. She admitted transporting him in and out of the area on previous occasions.” Her statement was taken and she was released.
