Dive day for cancer
Carl Elkington and Juan Pereira, the owners of Oceanworx in Umkomaas are having a cancer awareness day 'Dive for Cancer' at their premises at 1 MacLean Street on Saturday, 2 November.

The proceeds of the day will be donated to Khanya Hospice in Umkomaas.
“If weather permits, there will be boat rides, snorkelling, scuba diving and a beer tent with a lamb on the spit,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. People are invited to attend from 10am and support this worthy cause. Lunch will be served at about 1pm at R80 per person.
The scuba pool will have an ‘open day’ for people to get the feeling of scuba diving.
