Man dies in Warner Beach crash
A MAN in his 20s died and another was seriously hurt in two separate accidents in Toti this morning.
In San Gabriel Road, Warner Beach, a motorist died after his vehicle collided into a brick structure just after 5am. The cause of the accident and preceding events will be investigated by police.
Netcare 911 paramedics found the man still trapped in the crumpled remains of his vehicle, which came to rest on its roof in the road. He had died before their arrival, due to his extensive injuries.
Another motorist was seriously hurt condition when his vehicle rolled several times on the N2 on Twini Hill at about 7am.
The man was traveling towards Duran when his vehicle veered off the road, smashed through the barriers and rolled across the southbound lane.
Netcare 911 paramedics found the patient lying at the side of the highway. After he was stabilised, medics transported him to an area hospital.
