Lifesaving club soaks up the sunshine

All members to note that the local competition is at St Mikes at the end of November.

WHAT a difference some sunshine makes, as Winklespruit Lifesaving Club was a hive of activity this past Sunday with the nippers, the JLA/LA class, the juniors and seniors training for exams and competition.

The duty squad performed their duty well again, led by Cruz Barber. Hopefully this weather will continue.

All members are to note that the local competition is at St Mike’s at the end of November, so get training.

Training is on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4.30pm to 6pm and on Sundays from 8am to 10.30am. Get down to the beach.

Good luck to the nippers and the JLA /LA class who are doing exams.

Once again a word of thanks to the local community for supporting the robot collection this past Saturday morning. The funds raised will be used to get members to SA champs in the Cape in the new year.

See you on the beach.
