Pub crawl rakes in funds for Faron-Mae
The club thanks all the pubs, patrons and the numerous bike clubs who supported the fundraiser.
LOCAL bike club ‘The Monarchs’ in conjunction with pub newsletter ‘Pub Crawler’ held a pub crawl on Friday, 21 March to raise funds for Faron-Mae Fisher, a toddler with a rare genetic disease.
Bikers started at Warnadoone Angling Club and visited each participating pub, being Beach Cabin, Nautical Mile, The Boardroom, Buddies and The Reef and ended at The Garden of Eden.
The club thanks all the pubs, patrons and the numerous bike clubs who supported the fundraiser.
The top three pubs were: Garden of Eden with R5,823.80; Nautical Mile with R1,657.85; and The Reef with R859.
The Monarchs also thank Mega Force for the use of their clubhouse for the final round of the run, and for their incredible support. They also thanked Sharon and Hankie for their support and effort in raising funds and making the last leg of the run a great success.
