THE Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) will hold clinics for cancer screenings in Toti in May.
They will conduct clinical breast examinations which is carried out by a nursing sister, prostate blood test and skin tests. The cost of the prostate blood test is R180 and the breast examination and skin screenings cost R30.
The clinics are on Friday, 16 May from noon to 5pm and Saturday, 17 May from 8am to noon. Each appointment will be 15 minutes.
The venue is Dr Dyer’s room at Intercare Medexcel Centre, 24 Prince Street, Athlone Park.
