Mall makes a meal of Mandela Day contribution
AC provides food parcels to families in crisis.
Galleria Mall staff spent their 67 minutes on Mandela Day last Friday, 18 July assisting Amanzimtoti Cares (AC).
They repacked bulk maize into smaller packages for later distribution by the organisation.
AC provides food parcels to families in crisis. This can be due to job loss, retrenchment or illness.
Galleria Mall also donated ready-packed food parcels for the 18 families the organisation currently looks after.
“Thank you to our wonderful tenants who also made an impactful contribution with their donations: Ocean Basket donated 67 meals, Bread Ahead donated 30 loaves of bread, Coricraft sponsored groceries and Montagu donated dried fruit,” said marketing manager, Elizabeth Roux.
