Kingsway Grand Prix fines could fill city coffers

EDITOR – It is considerate of the municipality in providing us here in Toti with our very own Grand Prix race track along Kingsway, particularly the stretch of 1km north of the Total garage.

Should the municipality be kind enough to provide me with all the necessary equipment to trap speeding vehicles, I am prepared to sit behind a bush from 6am until 6pm for a week and all I ask is for a five percent cut in the fines raised and not only would I raise a great deal of income for the municipality, it would make me a very rich man.
Should a driver be clocked in excess of 120kph, they would be sentenced to six months of hard labour to be spent in the Nkandla compound, herding prize animals, assisting Jacob’s wives in their tuck shops and as lifesavers at the firepool, ensuring the water is maintained in prime condition in readiness for the next fire.
