Mambas’ dust-covered faces smiling at Illovo Eston finish

Sunday saw a large number of Toti Mambas partaking in the Illovo Eston race.

AMANZIMTOTI Cycling Club cyclists had a great weekend of fun riding.

Saturday morning kicked off with a new C group checking out a good 20km training loop in Illovo.

The new riders were chaperoned by a few of the seasoned riders, who happily shared their knowledge and advice with them. The group finished the easy ride with a feeling of accomplishment all around. This group will hopefully grow in size, skill and fitness level and will be riding together as much as possible on Saturday mornings, so anyone else is welcome to jump on the band wagon while it is still new.

Sunday saw a large number of Toti Mambas partaking in the Illovo Eston race. The weather was fantastically warm and the route fantastically dusty. Plenty of raccoon faces came flying in over the finish line. The Toti gazebo was erected for the club riders to be able to chill under after their races. Big thanks go to Hannes Beneke for taking charge of this.
