Man-made reef faces approval hurdles

EDITOR – In response to Jacques van Schalkwyk’s plans as outlined in last week’s Sun, the ideas are great , however, to get such passed by government will be a massive hurdle.
If we look at countries such as Australia, they sink ships, tyres and more to create new reefs, however, just take your mind back to the ship which ran aground at Sheffield Beach.
It was sunk miles offshore. Why?
