Bridge club hosts Lions for nine table Mitchell movement
The next major event will be the club championship which will be held over two weeks on 1 and 8 October
AMANZIMTOTI Bridge Club hosted a bridge day for Toti Lions on Wednesday, 20 August.
There was great support for this event and players played a nine table Mitchell movement – the best turnout the club has had for years.
The refreshments were brilliant, thanks to Brenda and the Lions.
Everyone enjoyed the afternoon, despite the late finish. There was great support from the Scottburgh players, thanks to the guys and girls who always do Toti Bridge Club proud.
Every board is a challenge when played by 18 pairs, and the overwhelming different contracts on some boards was amazing.
The next major event will be the club championship which will be held over two weeks on 1 and 8 October – put these dates in your bridge diary.
Results for the Lions bridge: First M Harrison and A Steele 65.7%, second H DuToit and M Botha 61.7%, third E and D Smith 60.4%.
