
The Amanzimtoti Cultural Committee, in collaboration with the Institute of Afrikology and the City of Durban, will host a cultural Heritage Day celebration.
The day’s activity are from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, 20 September at Bhekulwandle School and the event is open to the public.
This year, the community of Kwa Maphumulo, Bekulwandle and Thoyana will observe the 20 years of democratic freedom to acknowledge, showcase and celebrate its African history, heritage and culture.
Exhibition stalls on the day include performing art, music, crafts, dance, speeches and an African traditional dress fashion show.
