Seventy teams entered for Relay for Life
Teams are requested to have all tents and gazebos erected by 4pm.
Teams for this Saturday’s Relay for Life are coming in fast and furious, with 70 teams having paid and entered already.
Organisers urge the public to keep them coming in as there are only three days left before the start of the annual Toti event.
“This wonderful news was announced at the Cancer Relay for Life committee meeting on Tuesday, 16 September,” said media liason for Toti, Errol Theron.
If you would like to walk, but do not have a team, contact Diane at the Cansa office on 039-682-7680 or email dsaunders@cansa.org.za and she will put you in a team.
The Kingsway High School bottom gates will be open from noon onwards and teams are requested to have all tents and gazebos erected by 4pm.
“Please be prepared for any changes in the weather. A R5 gate fee will be charged per vehicle. Honorary guests, survivors, carers and teams must be there by 4pm to settle in comfortably as the relay starts at 5pm sharp.
The school tuck shop will be open if you would like to buy food and refreshments.
