Help SPCA with festive wrapping

Toti SPCA will be Christmas wrapping at Galleria, Arbour Crossing, Seadoone Mall and Toys R Us.

Toti SPCA appeals to the public to make use of its Christmas wrapping stations over the festive season.

“Christmas is, for some of us, one of the biggest and most important events of the year with family and friends coming together and having time to reflect on the year gone by,” said Toti SPCA PRO, Michelle Hannan.

“It is also a very busy time for us at the SPCA, with many religious festivities taking place. It is a time when we are inundated with stray animals due to fireworks or people going away on holiday.

On average around 500 stray animals come into the SPCA each month from October to January.

We will be Christmas wrapping at Galleria, Arbour Crossing, Seadoone Mall and Toys R Us to raise funds to help us look after all these animals during this very busy period.

We start on about 12 December and finish on 24 December at noon at most of the stores, although at Toys R Us, we will be there for the whole of December, from 9am to 7pm.”

If you would like to help the SPCA and volunteer your time at any of these centres, contact the SPCA on 031-904-2424/5 and speak to Michelle or email her on pro@spcatoti.co.za.

“Please also remember to use our boarding facilities if you are going away over the festive season,” said Michelle.
