Hobbies fair to tempt early Christmas shoppers
If you are a good baker and bake delicious cakes, tarts, pies, cookies and biscuits, or make yummy sweets, then this is a place for you to be.

ON Saturday, 29 November the Church of the Good Shepherd and St Mary’s will hold their annual art, crafts and hobbies Christmas fair at St Mary’s at 157 Kingsway Road, Warner Beach.
“As always we invite all you gifted and talented people to come to the fair to exhibit and sell your creations. We have invited charity organisations and our sister churches in the area to also join in. They will not only display but also sell the items which they have created, but also have a morning of fellowship with you and make new friends,” said a statement.
A host of people sell their wares to help augment their income, while others do so for the pure joy of displaying their work.
Whether you collect stamps, model aeroplanes, dolls, teaspoons, thimbles or something really different, your carvings, paintwork, sketches, knitting, sewing, crochet or embroidery, bead work, jewellery, woodwork, children’s toys and puzzle, home lamps and lamp shades as well as rock art or wire craft are welcome.
If you are a good baker and bake delicious cakes, tarts, pies, cookies and biscuits, or make yummy sweets, then this is a place for you to be. So diarise the last Saturday in November and consider stocking up on a few Christmas stocking fillers.
A full tea garden with various meal options such as bacon and egg and boerewors rolls will be on offer.
