A round-up of events taking place during the month of November.

FRIDAY, 31 OCTOBER: Probus Amanzimtoti social club monthly meeting at 9.30am for 10am in the safe, beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Umbogavango Nature Reserve. Visitors and members are requested to take their own cups, meat, salads, and refreshments for the bring-and-braai and socialising after the meeting. Interested visitors can call Sharon-Ann on 083-312-5360 by Wednesday, 29 October latest.

 

SUNDAY, 2 NOVEMBER: Toti Ramblers will meet at Lords at 07h15 to travel to Springside Nature Reserve in Hillcrest, followed by a picnic. Call Wendy on 083-352-6457.

 

MONDAY, 3 NOVEMBER: Cottage Patch Quilters Guild monthly meeting at 9.15am in Amanzimtoti library’s activity room. Visitors welcome. For details, call Hazel on 031-916-1906.

 

MONDAY, 10 NOVEMBER: SAARP end-of-year lunch at Toti Golf Club. This must be paid for by Monday, 3 November at the latest. Members are to note that everyone wanting to attend the two lunches on 28 October and 16 December are confirmed. Call Maureen on 031-903-4182 or 082-436-9281 with any queries.

 

WEDNESDAY, 12 NOVEMBER: The Upper South Coast Garden Club is having their annual Christmas meeting at 3 Mac Menamin Place, Amanzimtoti at 9.30am. To confirm attendance, call Lydia on 031-903-4212 or email lydia.petre@lantic.net.

SATURDAY, 29 NOVEMBER: 29th AGM of the parents association of Jona Vaughan Home at 1pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards.

 

SATURDAY, 29 NOVEMBER: The Church of the Good Shepherd and St Mary’s will hold their annual art, crafts and hobbies Christmas fair at St Mary’s at 157 Kingsway Road, Warner Beach. A full tea garden with various meal options such as bacon and egg and boerewors rolls will be on offer.
