Animal NGO app goes online

People can instantly call the organisation's shop or find its location.

INFORMATION on animal welfare organisation, 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue is now available on the go, via a new mobile application, ‘4 Paws Tale’.

The app will go live on Friday, 7 November and will be available for download for free on the Android platform at the Google Play store.

The app development came about as a result of networking as the organisation’s store, Tale End Charity Shop is a member of Business Network International (BNI).
Jacqueline Smith, who oversees the shop, met Ruth Lemmer, a mobile app developer at Sugar Skye at a BNI meeting and the idea for the app was born.

Ruth has donated the app valued at close to R13,000 to 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue. “It is a friendly app where people can instantly email or call the shop, donate, find its location or more about it,” she said.
There is also a Facebook Page link to 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue.

“We want our supporters and the public to download the app, to have us at their fingertips,” said Jacqueline.
