Toti flocks to bird park

Tea garden is being well-supported.

THERE has been a wonderful community response to the newly-opened tea garden run by Amanzimtoti Trauma Unit (ATU) at Toti Bird Park.

“It is going extremely well, weather permitting,” said Lynette Rowe of ATU.

The tea garden is open from 9am to 12.30pm, where customers can relax in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy scones with jam and cream with tea or coffee.

With the holidays, Lynette urges families to go down the to bird park. “For the school holidays, we will cater for children and sell fruit juice and muffins.”

She thanks Warner Beach Preparatory for donating the crockery. They are in need of teapots, milk jugs and a trestle table or a cash donation to purchase the items.
If able to assist, call ATU on 031-903-7777.
