Go Durban necessitates three-month detour through Pinetown, N Germany

As part of the Go!Durban public transport service, eThekwini Municipality is currently constructing a section of the Integrated Rapid Public Transport Network (IRPTN) through Pinetown and New Germany.
From Monday, 19 January, northbound and southbound traffic on Qashana Khuzwayo Road (Shepstone Road) will be diverted along Blasé, Chelsea Avenue and Escom roads. Access to the shops and businesses on Qashana Khuzwayo will be from Regent Street.
It is anticipated that the detour will be in operation for about three months.
