Two more shops to open for NPO

ANIMAL welfare organisation 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue is spreading its wings and is opening two more charity shops.

“To keep costs low and to give others the opportunity to contribute to the care and well being of dogs and cats, we have decided to open a second and a third charity shop, one in Umkomaas and one in Pennington,” said the organisation’s Nicky Koekemoer.
The main shop, Tale End Charity Shop is based at Pahla Centre in Toti.
If anyone has anything to donate towards this worthy cause, there are now three points to either drop off all your unwanted good stuff or to buy some of the beautiful things the shops have been gifted. The launch dates of the new shops will be announced soon.

Donations of dog and cat food, blankets and bowls can also be left at all three points.
“To the wonderful people who have been so supportive of 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue, we are happy to report that rescues and adoptions have been going well. We placed Rosy and Splash with the same family, after waiting patiently for two years for their forever home. Such joy at being free and loved by two wonderful people was just too beautiful to see. It made the wait so worthwhile and you were all part of this happy ending due to your constant support.”

The organisation has also started a building fund as its dream is to have its own rescue centre. “At the May Day Fair we will be selling cyber bricks and land as our vision to own our own rescue centre. This has now taken centre stage and we are pushing full steam ahead to make this dream come true. So everyone out there, if you know of someone who will lease us some land close as possible to civilization, let us know.”

“Life is hard out there and our four-footed friends rely heavily on people like you and me to stop the suffering. Be vigilant, if you see abuse call the SPCA, if your dog goes missing call us and the SPCA and check with the Scottburgh Vet on 039-976-1418 if your animal has not been taken into the pound. Most of all, don’t shop, adopt.”
