THE Upper South Coast Art Association holds its monthly meeting on 16 May in the activities hall of Amanzimtoti library.

The meeting will start at 1.30pm and ends at about 4pm.

The demonstration this month will be given by well-known local artist, Jill Knight, and her medium is oils. Her subject will be hydrangeas so go along and learn some of the priniciples of painting florals.

The meeting will be preceded by the drawing session which starts at 9am and ends at about noon. There is no charge for this session, only a small charge for refreshments. The public is welcome to attend.

Take along A4 or A5 paper and a picture of a friend or family member you may want to draw. The other requirements are the usual drawing materials. The club looks forward to seeing a good turnout as both sessions are informative and interesting and the presenters are fully committed to giving the best of their talents.
