Enjoy SPCA music fundraiser by the river
Over 500 people supported the event last year and the organisation hopes to repeat this success.
AMANZIMTOTI SPCA is preparing for its live music and family fun day fundraiser on Friday, 29 May.
The venue is the Toti Civic Centre field and the event is from 4pm to 10pm.
“In May 2014, the organisation hosted the first Music by the River event, which was a huge success. Over 500 people came to support, and a whopping R28,000 was raised. This year we hope to repeat the success, we would love to go bigger and better,” said SPCA PRO, Michelle Hannan.
Thanks to Amanzimtoti KFC and Warner Beach KwikSpar, there is a fantastic line up of local bands to get you moving – The Hinds Brothers, Sonic Roisin, The Kickstands, Fools of Fate, Gus Brown and Qadasi.
“We will have plenty of fantastic entertainment with fire dancers, a lumo tent and a jumping castle sponsored by KZN Inflatables. Food will be on sale as well as soft beverages. Bring your own alcohol.”
Tickets are R60 per adult, R20 per child under 12 and pensioners. Children under three enter for free.
