Probus confers honorary membership

THE speaker at the Amanzimtoti Probus Club meeting on Friday, 31 July was Cara Noble from the Durban Cancer Care Centre.

Cara is divisional services manager for Cancer KwaZulu-Natal and she was accompanied by Sesethu Senene, representing Cancer South Coast in Port Shepstone.

She holds a masters degree in social science from the UKZN and spoke both passionately and eloquently about the wonderful work done by the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) over the last 80 years

At the meeting, the president proudly presented an emotional Sheila Cleland with a Probus Club Amanzimtoti honorary membership certificate, in recognition and appreciation of her selfless service to the club over many years.
