Toti author launches sixth book
He is a life coach, inspirational speaker and hypnosis practitioner.
TOTI author, Mohan H Surujbally (32) has released his sixth book, 40 days to Personal Mastery, under the self-development banner.
40 Days to Personal Mastery is an audio programme accompanied by a 196 page book that takes the reader on the greatest journey they will ever make in their life; the inner journey.
“Mastery of your inner world will lead to automatic mastery over the outer world. It is futile trying to conquer the world outside of ourselves, when in truth the only elements that we can control are the elements of our inner world – your thoughts, emotions and beliefs.” said Mohan.
He is a life coach, inspirational speaker and hypnosis practitioner.
Mohan sources information for his books by studying, reading and research. “I am currently studying towards my PH.D in metaphysics. Over the last 10 years I have accelerated my growth by reading over 1,000 books, and I continue to add to that number daily. However the greatest teacher has been life itself. Nothing teaches faster and harder than life. I know what it is like to lose everything, and in having nothing, realise you cannot lose anything, because you are everything.”
Prior to pursuing his current career path, Mohan worked as a microbiologist for seven years. “We all know what we are born to do. The problem is that most people are too consumed by fear to live in their purpose. We are too comfortable being uncomfortable. Unfortunately when we live in the comfort zone, there is no growth.”
He was born in Umkomaas, attended Umkomaas Secondary School and moved to Toti in 2005. “My family has been incredibly supportive and if it weren’t for their belief in me, I would not be where I am today.”
To relax, he enjoys being in nature, either at botanical gardens, the beach or hiking through a forest. “I love the outdoors, as it is only the only way we can connect to our true selves. I also enjoy watching movies or live performances, being involved in community service, cooking and spending time with family and friends. I am also an adrenaline junkie and love living on the edge.”
His plans for the next 10 to 20 years are to travel to a new country every two weeks, running workshops and seminars. “By 10 years, I want to have supported at least a million people. By 20 years, I hope to have supported at least a billion people in living a life that is purposeful.”
The launch of 40 Days to Personal Mastery is at the Durban City Lodge on Saturday, 29 August at 2pm.
It is available at all good book stores in South Africa and online from amazon.com or personalmastery.co.za/shop
