Sponsor a child to develop their potential
Funds are allocated for the well-being of the children according to their individual needs.
DEVELOP the full potential of a child at Mother of Peace (MOP) by sponsoring one of them.
MOP in Lower Illovo is a community for children who have been abandoned, orphaned or abused.
Sponsorship is R299 a month. All sponsor a child funds are allocated for the well-being of the children according to their individual needs.
This year’s theme is health and well-being and a portion of sponsorships will be put towards revitalising the infirmary to fulfill MOP’s multi-disciplinary health and well-being needs.
To do do so, 60 children need to be matched with sponsors.
Through the care provided at the infirmary, children will not only learn more about themselves, but be encouraged to take responsibility of self-care.
In August, five children were matched with sponsors.
Sponsorships range from three months to one year.
* Three months contract: You will receive a Sponsor a Child (SAC) newsletter and an update on your sponsored child.
* Six-month contract: Two SAC newsletters and a crafted gift.
* Twelve-month contract: Four SAC newsletters, pen-pal interaction, crafted gift by you sponsored child.
