Second inspector boosts SPCA

The good work done by Amanzimtoti SPCA received a major boost with the appointment of a second inspector at the Athlone Park-based animal organisation.
Inspector Lucky Jali joined the team at Amanzimtoti SPCA in July.
“Lucky has been an inspector since 2004 and has a lot of experience dealing with cruelty cases and general animal welfare,” said Amanzimtoti SPCA manager, Tracey Girling.
“We are very fortunate to now have two qualified inspectors on the road, as we cover a huge area and the workload can now be divided.”
Report any animal cruelty complaints to Amanzimtoti SPCA, so that the inspectors can investigate and take the necessary action.
“Remember we are the voice for innocent animals and turning a blind eye makes us just as guilty as the offenders,” said Tracey. “No matter how big or small, every complaint is investigated.”
