Dog owners should clean up after their pets

EDITOR – This is in response to the letter you published on owners walking their dogs on the beach.

The point was missed, as the problem is not owners walking their dogs on the beach but owners not cleaning up the dogs’ mess.

The owners must take responsibility and rise to the next level and at least when your dog poops, use the scoop. Don’t descend to the level of those people as mentioned in the letter, who pollute our beaches and country.

Dog owners should become part of the solution, not the problem.
