Animal dinner fund swells

People who wish to contribute to the fund can have a short message printed in the SUN on behalf of a pet.

The Animal Dinner Fund received a massive donation of R5,000 from Mercia Spain.

The kind-hearted animal lover made her donation ‘in loving memory of my beloved Buddy and all my other rescue dogs and cats that made my life worthwhile and are waiting for me at the rainbow bridge’.

Other donations received this week include R200 from Shirley Clay ‘thinking of my faithful doggies who gave us so much love, Moss, Sheba, Bradshaw, Rusty, Tyson and my little Patches. Sleep peacefully my boys, lots of love mum’, R300 from Denise Siegel ‘in loving memory of Cheeky, Sally, Meggie and Sweetie’, R500 from Marion Cillie ‘thank you for my wonderful Whoopie 23 years ago and still my wonderful happy Maltese’ and R150 from Eva Reipsch ‘to all my cats that gave me so much love’.

The public is urged to support the fund which helps feed stray animals at Toti SPCA during the festive season.
