Ten hurt when taxi, bakkie collide on N2

Bakkie rolled after collision in southbound carriageway near Prospecton’s Joyner Road off-ramp

Ten people were injured when a taxi and bakkie collided on the N2 southbound near the Joyner Road off-ramp just after 2.30pm yesterday (Friday, 1 July).

The bakkie rolled onto its roof after it collided with the taxi. Rescue Care paramedics stabilised 10 injured patients at the scene before they transported them to nearby hospitals.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
