He disturbed a man who had broken into the garage

A HOUSEBREAKER was apprehended by a Warner Beach street patrol on Sunday night, 16 July.

“While on his patrol, our guard Mxolisi Peters heard some noise at a premises in Massey Road,” said ET Rapid Response South Coast managing member, Tony Lokker.

“On investigation, he disturbed a man who had broken into the garage and apprehended him.”

A set of keys that was taken in another housebreaking in the area was found in his possession. The suspect was handed over to Toti SAPS.

“On Monday morning, our tactical response team collared a second suspect in Umgababa. With the assistance of Sgt Stanley from the SAPS K9 unit, they also located a bicycle stolen during the Massey Road break-in.”
