Four-year-old critical after Prospecton crash

Paramedics found the roadway littered with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles consistent with that of a high impact collision

A high impact collision in Prospecton on Sunday night, 21 August left seven people injured, including a four-year-old child.

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision at the intersection of Wilcox and Joyner Roads in Prospecton.

The cause of the crash will form part of a South African police investigation.
Paramedics found the roadway littered with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles consistent with that of a high impact collision. After they triaged the injured, it was found that a four-year-old girl had sustained critical injuries, while six others sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor.

Medics treated the injured before they transported them to various hospitals.
