Bag beach litter on coastal clean-up day
This year after the floods, there is lots more to be cleared.
Join in a clean-up of Toti beaches this weekend as International Coastal Clean-Up Day is celebrated on Saturday, 17 September .
“Last year more than 500 residents collected 600 bags of trash and this year after the floods, there is lots more to be cleared,” said Amanzimtoti Conservancy chairman, Angus Pyke.
Toti Lions, Leos and Green Scorpions will be at Toti Lagoon from 8am, so join them to pick up some litter.
“On Toti main beach, another group will hand out refuse bags if you feel like spending some time doing your bit along the Promenade or on the beach.”
For more information, call Angus on 074-951-4267.
