Vets day at shellhole
The day features a braai, music, potjie or bring and braai, raffles and a skydiving display.

The South African Defence Force (SADF) veterans’ day takes place at Mills Bomb Shellhole in Warner Beach on Saturday, 17 September from 11am.
“The day will commemorate 50 years since the start of the South West Africa and Angola border war in remembrance and to honour our boys who did not make it home,” said Mills Bomb Shellhole chairman Russ Andraos.
“All who served in the SADF pre-1994, whether South Africa or border-based, are welcome, as are all units, MOTHs and members of Veteran Associations.
Bring your family and friends to celebrate our past and history, meet your fellow brother in arms, share a story or two and raise a glass to our fallen brothers.”
The day features a braai, music, potjie at a cost of R20 per plate, or bring and braai, raffles and a skydiving display. A cash bar is available.
