Company marks week of giving

As part of its annual ‘go green’ campaign, an Amanzimtoti company did a clean-up of Toti main beach on Monday, 19 September.

“Every year, APM Terminals dedicates one week to do its bit for the environment,” said Chantell Visser.

“This year we dedicated our time to a beach clean-up at Amanzimtoti beach and collected 15 bags of rubbish.”

The staff planted trees at the I Care children’s home on Tuesday, 20 September, at Saint Monica’s Children’s Home on Wednesday and gave a donation to the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) towards the upkeep of the centre on Thursday.
