One critical after car rolls down bank

It is believed the vehicle hit a tree stump.

Three people were injured, one critically when a driver lost control of his vehicle on the N2 northbound by Twini Hill on Saturday, 22 October.

ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the incident.

“It is believed the vehicle hit a tree stump, rolled down an embankment and came to rest under a tree,” said ER24 spokesman, Chitra Bodasing Harduth.

Three men were ejected from the vehicle.

“Assessment of one of the patients found lying near the vehicle, established he was in a critical condition.

Another man also found lying near the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.

The third patient sustained minor injuries.”

The patients were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown but authorities were on scene for further investigations.
