Radio station tunes into Hospice’s needs
KHANYA Hospice has received a helping hand from Kerry and Sadha Govender, managing director and owner of radio station, Skye Radio.

After Neil explained the role Khanya Hospice plays in the community along with what it needs, the Govenders offered to help with the charity’s website and social media, advertising and computer updates.
CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald was humbled by the offer from the Govenders and grateful for the help they’re lending.
“Hospice greatly appreciates this as we, as an NGO, don’t have the money to employ people to do this for us,” said Neil.
Skye Radio is an online streaming radio station, which broadcasts to 32 countries worldwide, day and night. Hospices relies mostly on volunteers, especially to man their shops. Should you want to volunteer, email hospice@scottnet.co.za or call 083-597-8985.
