Seat belt saves woman from injury as car rolls on N2 at Winklespruit
Illovo Beach residents were awoken by the sound of a huge crash

WEARING a seat belt allowed a motorist to escape unharmed when her car rolled on the N2 just past Winklespruit this morning at about 7.30am.
Illovo Beach residents were awoken by the sound of a huge crash and were left wondering what it had been.

The woman, a night-shift worker, was travelling southbound on the N2 after her shift when her car overturned and rolled into the grassed centre median. Miraculously, she was left uninjured.
Netcare 911 paramedics said the only visible injuries she sustained were scratches to her forehead and hand.
