Woman injured in Amanzimtoti N2 accident

The woman suffered an asthma attack after the accident.

A woman was injured earlier today when a vehicle slammed into the rear of her stationary vehicle on the N2 north opposite Kingsway Hospital.

“Paramedics and fire services arrived at the scene and found the driver of the stationary vehicle had sustained moderate injuries,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Chris Botha.

According to Botha,  the woman suffered an asthma attack after the accident.

The female driver was stabilised at the scene, before she was transported to hospital.

The cause of the accident will be investigated.
