Budding soccer stars keep their eyes on the ball

Both local and rural high schools spent their time in separate sessions, improving their skills in the game.

THE soccer clinic offered to local high school pupils in Arbour Crossing’s parking lot provides a platform for youngsters to showcase and enhance their skills.

The Primo sponsored four-day soccer clinic was set to take place last week from Thursday, 11 to Sunday, 14 May at the Arbour Crossing parking lot outside Dial-a-Bed. Due to the inclement weather, the last three days of the clinic was postponed to this weekend.

Today, Friday, 19 May saw great success as both local and rural high schools spent their time in separate sessions, improving their skills in the game.

“It’s great that both the sponsor of the event and the mall can get their names out there, while still building on the youngsters’ skills in the game,” said Durban Football Club’s Enzo Coppola. “

Enzo and fellow coach Xolani Mbatha of Durban FC spend their days on the cornered off astro turf tweaking and moulding the talent at hand, to perfection.

Make your way down to Arbour Crossing’s parking lot between 9:30am and 1pm to catch the action.
