• Teach your child independence at an early age
• Give your child space to learn and experience things on their own
• Talk to your child about your teen experience
• Be open minded and let your child express how they feel
• Be considerate  towards their feelings
• Teach them some sort of responsibility
• Support their dreams and goals
• Involve yourself in whatever they do
• Trust their will
• Protect them and love them so they won’t have to find love elsewhere
