Absorb the beauty of nature with bird enthusiasts

Bird enthusiasts are invited to join the guided birding and nature walks in Lower Illovo this December.

BIRD enthusiasts young and old are invited to take up the opportunity to participate in nature and birding walks this December.

Sapphire Coast Tourism in partnership with Cafe Familia will ensure the events are a great success.

This Saturday, 23 December the Nature and Birding Walk will take place at 1 Deeptank Road, Lower Illovo. Bird and nature enthusiast Blessing Majoka will guide attendees through the beauty of the area. The event has no entrance fee, and will start bright and early at 7am and run through to 11am, where after scones and refreshments will be available from Cafe Familia.

The importance of instilling a love and interest in nature at a young age is taken into consideration with the Kids Nature Walk held tomorrow, Wednesday 20 December at the same venue. The entrance fee is R30 per person, which includes a snack pack from Cafe Familia. Blessing Majoka will guide this walk.
