Amanzimtoti Lions Club hosts 50th anniversary event

We invite anyone who has some free time and who is interested in helping us with our projects.

Amanzimtoti Lions Club is looking for community-minded people who are keen to join the organisation and help with community projects.

The Lions club celebrates its 50th anniversary on Thursday, 8 February and invites interested parties to join in the celebration. “We are hosting a cheese and wine evening at the Masonic Hall on the corner of Adams Road and Bernadotte Street and invite anyone who has some free time and who is interested in helping us with our projects such as diabetes, manning water tables and helping the old folks of Toti,” said Lion Carol Botha. “Come and see what Lions is all about and meet our members.”

The event starts at 6.30pm for 7pm.

Besides the membership drive, the Lions club is also busy organising this year’s Highland Gathering, which takes place on Saturday, 28 April and they are looking for helpers. For more information, call Carol on 076-934-7527.
