Midnight crash on Kingsway leaves man (23) critical

Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision outside a nightclub in Kingsway Road.

Paramedics responded to the scene of a serious crash at about midnight on Friday, 16 February which left a man critical.

Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision outside a nightclub in Kingsway Road.

It was found that a 23-year-old male had been knocked down by a light motor vehicle on Kingsway and was in a critical condition.
The man was treated at the scene by an emergency care practitioner who placed him on a ventilator to help him breathe.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance for further assessment and care. Police also responded to the scene and will investigate.
