TAKE NOTE: Temporary closure of M4 highway

Motorists are advised to take note of the temporary closure of the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Highway (M4) between the Bluff ramp, Clairwood and Jacobs. The aim of the closure is to allow for essential emergency repairs to be done on the bridge over the Mhlathuzana canal.

eThekwini Municipality’s deputy head of communications, Mandla Nsele said the road will be closed in both directions. The repairs will begin on Saturday, 22 September and be completed on Monday, 24 September.

Motorists will be advised of a detour with the appropriate traffic signs at the closure and up to the nearest point of entry beyond the closure.
