Housebreakers arrested with stolen goods

The men were found with a compressor and other stolen items.

Two housebreakers were nabbed by the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) and stolen property recovered in the early hours of Thursday morning, 18 October. CCPO committee member, George Snodey said supervisor Michael Mkhize noticed two men near Fynn Road and Old Main Road just after 3am.

“They had a compressor and other items with them when they were apprehended. They could not explain where they got the items from and were then handed over to Amanzimtoti SAPS,” said Snodey.

Amanzimtoti SAPS followed up and the two men pointed out a house in Eland Avenue where they had stolen the items from.
