Let your team spirit set sail for charity raft race

The Elders Voice is one of the recipients who will benefit from this race.

Hoodlums Motorcycle Club hosts its fifth charity raft race on Umkomaas River on Saturday, 16 March from 8am, with the start set for 11am.

The Elder’s Voice is one of the recipients who will benefit from this race.

There’s plenty of fun to be had. If you are a company, show some wicked team spirit or simply gather a group of friends together who want to have fun and help the cause at the same time by entering and participating. You need to build a raft, and let six men or women row it down the Umkomaas River all in the name of fun and charity.

There will be a trophy for best spirit, along with entertainment provided for children, food stalls and a cash bar. The cost is R500 to enter a raft with a maximum of six people or R200 per tube team. All proceeds go to charity.
