Illovo Chariot festival a vibrant occasion
From 10am the enormous and beautifully decorated chariot departed from Maha Vishnu Temple for the Lower Illovo sports grounds.
THE Illovo Shree Maha Vishnu Temple Easter Chariot Festival took place on Saturday, 20 April and was deemed a great success by all who participated.
From 10am the enormous and beautifully decorated chariot departed from Maha Vishnu Temple for the Lower Illovo sports grounds. Around 3pm the chariot then headed back towards the Maha Vishnu Temple.
The committee and organisers thanked all who attended the 111th Illovo Shree Maha Vishnu Temple’s Easter Chariot Festival. This year’s festival welcomed both national and international devotees and visitors.
Pleased to have hosted a successful day which was enjoyed by all, organisers look forward to an even bigger event next year. Jeffrey Govender Photography captured the chariot festival beautifully.
