CCPO arrests wanted housebreaker

The suspect was detained for a house breaking at Sweetwaters flats in January.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) caught a wanted housebreaker on Saturday, 25 May.

“This suspect was eluding us and SAPS since January, but we eventually got him. After getting information relating to him often hanging around the Warnadoone Ski Boat Club, his photo was shown to a couple of the members and commodore Glen Jansen called me to say he was sure our suspect was sitting at the tables,” said CCPO committee member, George Snodey.

The CCPO went down to check and after confirming it was him, even though he lied about his identity, he was taken to Toti SAPS and detained for a house breaking at Sweetwaters flats in January.
